Tiresias gave me a bloody beverage
so I took it to my favorite planet
Pluto threw it out the window
my inner goddess laughed with joy
instantly attracted to his strength.
The devil on my shoulder shouted
calling me a fool
so I followed the liquid out the hole in the wall
tumbling and tossing and turning
landing gently, poison pooled in my hands
I went to take a broken sip
and found myself mouthless.
The nameless figure in my gut
cried at the loss, yet told me to push on
all hope cannot be lost.
All other voices faded to darkness
as I became unstuck.
A knife appeared and I brought it close
full of fear they all arose and silently screamed
but it was too late
your voice was the only one I heard.
